Common questions

Asked and answered

Where would I be based?

Our unit is at Brailwood Close in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. The work itself is across the East Midlands, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, so most days are on site rather than at the unit.

What equipment would I be working on?

Daikin, Samsung, Midea and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Wall-mounted splits and multi-splits, ceiling cassettes, ducted units and floor consoles on the domestic and light commercial side, and VRF and VRV on commercial sites, including 3-pipe heat recovery and water-cooled systems.

Do I need to be F-Gas registered?

Anyone handling refrigerant here is F-Gas registered, because the law requires it. Whether a particular role needs you to already hold it, or whether it is something we would sort out, is stated in that role's listing.

Is it installation or servicing?

Both. We install and commission new systems and we service and maintain systems, including ones we did not install. A listing says which side of that a role sits on.

None of the roles listed suit me. Is it worth getting in touch?

Yes. We would rather have a good person's details on file than miss them. Send what you have done and where you are, and we will come back to you when something opens.

Do the office roles need air conditioning experience?

No. The administrator and the social media role do not need you to have worked in the trade. The engineer role does, and says so in its listing.

Who is ArcticNord?

An air conditioning installer in Nottinghamshire, trading as part of Nord Group, a Qualis Energy Limited company. We fit air conditioning and air-to-air heat pumps for homes and business premises.
